"Chanteuse in Concert"
A new concert production of the musical "Chanteuse" will be presented at various venues in the Austin, Texas area between July 15 and August 31st of 2014. Auditions will be held 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM on April 30, 2014 at Dougherty Arts Center, 1110 Barton Springs Road in Austin, Texas. Two women (ages 20 to 40 in the play) and one man (40 to 60) are needed. The women must sing and play guitar with little or no acting experience necessary, although it couldn't hurt. The man must act and carry a tune but doesn't need to have a great voice, although, again, it couldn't hurt. A keyboard player is also wanted.
